Amsterdam Case Competition 2023

The ACC is a unique opportunity for twelve teams from top business schools worldwide to compete with each other by presenting their solutions for real-life business cases. Along with boosting their professional skills, participants receive an incredible opportunity to discover Amsterdam, the multinational centre of the Netherlands, and familiarize themselves with the rich Dutch culture.

The first edition of the Amsterdam Case competition will take place in May 2023.

UvA Economics and Business (EB)

Education and research at UvA Economics and Business (EB) covers a wide range of fields that includes economics, data science, business administration, business analytics, accountancy, control, econometrics, finance and entrepreneurship. This is organised in 2 Schools: the Amsterdam Business School (ABS) and the Amsterdam School of Economics (ASE). Over 7,000 students are enrolled in our UvA Economics and Business programmes and around 500 employees provide education and support.

With some 800,000 inhabitants, Amsterdam has all the advantages of a major metropolitan centre while retaining a cosy, small-scale feel. Amsterdam boasts beautiful architecture and over 150 canals, lending the city its characteristic shape and atmosphere. Study Association Sefa


Sefa is the study association of the faculty of Economics and Business (EB) at the University of Amsterdam. Sefa inspires students to transcend, connecting them to their future. Throughout the year, Sefa accommodates activities for students of all years and disciplines. We offer students an extensive network to explore and develop their capabilities. All Economics and Business students are provided a diverse portfolio of career events, social activities, academic intensification and international congregations. By participating in events, students can broaden their academic, professional and social horizon, which can be of great value in their future careers.

Amsterdam Case Competition 2023

The Amsterdam Case Competition 2023 is the first edition of an undergraduate case competition in Amsterdam organized by the University of Amsterdam. The teams will be challenged in assessing the real-life issues organizations are facing today, analyzing available information, crafting solutions, and defending their recommendations in front of a jury of high-level business leaders.  The competition week provides a rigorous platform that tests students’ case analysis capabilities, challenges students to think creatively, and empowers them to present with confidence in front of esteemed industry professionals on an international stage.

  • Who’s eligible to participate?
    You can participate in this undergraduate case competition by invitation only. A team consists of four undergraduate students and one faculty advisor.
  • When?
    The ACC 2023 edition will take place in May.
