FloatScans was founded last year by 2 former BCG consultants. We believe that the next generation of (digital) experiences will increasingly utilize (interactive) 3D content. One of the major problems with producing this 3D content is that it’s expensive and complex. To solve this problem, we’ve built revolutionary 3D technology that can make unparalleled 3D models of real-world objects at scale and at affordable prices. Customers include museums that want to create digital exhibitions and fashion companies that want to speed up their time-to-market.

Why this opportunity is the right one for you

The Business Development Manager will work together with the Founders in bringing the 3D technology to market. The responsibilities of the Business Development Manager revolve around 3 themes: i) together with the Founders, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing a robust (content) marketing, PR, and communications strategy, ii) to support the further development of our products, the Business Development Manager is in charge of conducting market research, iii) the Business Development Manager will support the Founders on finance, legal, and admin topics. Besides the themes mentioned above, there is an opportunity to shape the scope of the internship together.

Why you will do well in this role

We’re looking for a Master or 3rd year Bachelor students that have a proven ability to generate impact, improve themselves, and get stuff done. As a young and dynamic start-up, we offer a fast-paced and challenging learning environment. We’re looking for candidates that will do well under such circumstances. Candidates should ideally have a business or economics background and/or relevant work experience. Dutch language proficiency, prior internship experience, and an affinity with technology will be considered a plus.
