What do our Finance internships involve?
Within the Finance department in the Netherlands, we have two possible internship positions, both located in our headquarters in Utrecht:
- Commercial Finance
- Financial Forecasting and Reporting
As a Commercial Finance intern, you act as a spider in the web between our commercial teams and finance teams to achieve sustainable growth and profitability for both PepsiCo and the retailer. As a Commercial Finance intern, you are the link between sales and finance; you analyze the effectiveness and profitability of the account you are responsible for both through a monthly close process and also on an ad hoc basis. In addition, you give advice on improving the promotional strategy, and you analyze the performance of the accounts based on commercial plans, sales data and historical data, identifying trends and developments and potential risks and opportunities. You should be able to think from the customer perspective and consumer behavior to collect and analyze the right information.
As a Financial Forecasting and Reporting intern, you will be providing valuable support in reporting, analyzing and consolidating the Benelux (Net Revenue) results of our various brands. Additionally, you will be assisting in our integrated Sales & Operation planning processes, to help providing financial steering information to the business unit. This gives you a birds-eye view of the performance of the entire Business Unit, as well as a broad orientation in all our categories and our customers. Your activities will range from making complex analyses in Excel, to the translation of commercial growth plans into numbers; as well as providing support for monthly performance reviews and drafting management reports. You will be collaborating closely with colleagues from the Sales Finance, Sales, Category Management and Demand Planning departments.
What do we offer you?

You will be provided with the necessary working-from-home toolkit, guidance and personal support from your manager, to ensure that you feel as if you are working in the office while working from home.
