What do our HR internships involve?

Within the HR department in the Netherlands, we have two possible internship positions:

  • Talent Acquisition/Learning & Development
  • HR Operations

As a Talent Acquisition/Learning & Development intern, you will not only manage the recruitment process of our interns from end to end, but also act as a consultant and mediator for all the interns within the company. From the briefing till the offer management step, you will be involved in every stage of the recruitment process. Your potential tasks will include: one-on-one updates with managers, managing the vacancies, postings of the job on various channels, CV screenings, candidate interviews, drafting of the employment contracts, to name a few. Furthermore, you will also be supporting learning and development programs for the business unit as well as some culture and engagement practices. This will involve the coordination of enrollment for programs and trainings, supporting the programs’ content on our internal learning platform, and working with related internal communications.

As an HR Operations intern, you will be supporting the HR departments of Duyvis (Zaandam) and Lays (Broek op Langedijk). Your tasks will include optimizing training programs for new employees, and working on a development curriculum for our Assistant Line managers.

Qualifications / Requirements :

Who are we looking for?

You are someone who:
  • Is a Bachelor/Master student or graduated (max. 3 months) with an interest in HR and/or Talent Acquisition;
  • Likes to take initiative and work independently with strong communication skills;
  • Is pro-active, well-organized and able to set priorities in a fast moving industry;
  • Is not afraid to voice their opinion and thinks creatively and rationally in order to solve problems;
  • Is ambitious, focused on results and has enthusiasm and positive attitude;
  • Is fluent in Dutch (in both speaking and writing), and has a good command over the English language.
  • Is located in The Netherlands or Belgium
