We’re hiring: Operations & Accounting Assistant (Part-time, 10 – 16 hours per week)

At Valkering Media, the team behind major sports platforms like Ajax Showtime, F1Maximaal, Indeleiderstrui, and IDL Procycling, we are looking for a proactive Operations & Accounting Assistant to join our international, remote-friendly team.
This isn’t a “classic” administrative role. It’s an opportunity to sit at the heart of a growing media company and help us build a more efficient, AI-driven operational foundation.
Location: Diemen / Hybrid Remote
Hours: 10–16 hours per week (Flexible)
What you’ll be doing:
Financial Ownership: Managing A/R and A/P, preparing payment batches, and handling daily banking. Reporting: Creating the financial overviews that help our management team make strategic decisions. Coordination: Acting as the key link between our internal team and our external accountants and payroll providers. Innovation: Identifying and implementing new digital tools to improve our workflows.
Who we are looking for:
• You are highly accurate and take pride in “owning” your processes.
• You are tech-savvy and comfortable navigating digital systems and AI tools.
• You are fluent in both Dutch and English (essential for coordination with Dutch partners).
• You are at the start of your career or looking for a professional role alongside your studies.
