Lovely Sefasts,
The month of the king brings with it not only better weather but also signals the beginning of the last quarter of the year. With the reappearance of the ever-elusive Dutch sunshine comes a flurry of equally warm activities.
The month began with the end of the MCC study trip and easter. Just as Jesus rose, so did our spirits at our boozy yearly Easter brunch. With Sinclair nearly toppling the longstanding Mimosa record, we celebrated a momentous occasion at No Man’s art gallery. No sooner had everyone returned from Easter than we were back into another week of activities with our inaugural Sefa Springfest. This was a whole week chock-full of fun activities for the whole faculty, from drag bingo to morning coffee raves; this was certainly a week to remember.
Springfest was not the only new activity that happened in April. A dedicated group of Sefa members headed to Maastricht to compete in Royals Cup. One of the largest sports competitions between business schools in Europe, it was an unforgettable experience. From an astounding 3rd place in basketball, to passionate cheering and parties until sunrise. A new bar has been set for next year.
With only a week of downtime, we were in for another few days of excitement. Beginning with the birthday of the king himself. With more Sefa members crammed onto a boat than ever before, the vibes were high and the stelz ran dry. Without even a single day to recover from the festivities, many of our lovely members found themselves bleary eyed at Schiphol airport ready for a wonderful week in Singapore (more details to come). Following the theme of new beginnings, April also marked the selection of the 105th Board. We could not be more proud of the new board and are so excited to see everything they will accomplish in the year ahead!
