Audit & Assurance at Grant Thornton
In the assurance you will be working for large SME and corporate clients within a wide variety of branches. As a starter you are immediately part of the team, you have customer contact and you visit around 15 to 20 customers on an annual basis. Some of these customers can be internationally oriented. You are involved in the preparation, execution and completion of assignments. You perform substantive and system-oriented audit procedures and you are responsible for conducting figure assessments and relationship checks on financial statement items. Collaborating with your immediate colleagues is essential here, but you also form a multidisciplinary team with tax specialists and other specialists.
Specialist Advisory Services at Grant Thornton
Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory Services, Forensic & Investigation Services and Restructuring & Performance Improvement. This is a selection of our specialist services that are mainly supplied from Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Contributing to valuation assignments or supporting sales / purchase projects are examples of work that you perform as a starter. You can also be involved in financial due diligence research on merger and acquisition processes, but also in projects to optimize the cost structure and profit margins. Intensive contact with colleagues from other disciplines, other locations and with the international network is abundant.
