Function description
Information Strategy Officer
As the ISO, you are responsible for the technical and strategic aspects of Sefa. This means combining both IT and long-term strategic thinking including managing the Google Workspace environment for members, ownership of websites, and implementing technical tools for Sefa functions. Taking the lead in Salesforce reporting and tracing data further enhances the success and effectiveness of Sefa. The ISO focuses on the digitalization of Sefa and supporting the organization with our IT systems.

About Me
Hello everyone! My name is Joseph Tixier, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the Information Strategy Officer of Sefa.
Originally from France (oui oui baguette), I pursued my studies in England before moving to Amsterdam to join my Master’s in Business Administration. My journey with Sefa began during this time, and participating in numerous events last year motivated me to get involved even more. I am currently the 2nd oldest student in the board (6 years as a student damn) after Coen.
I decided to apply for a board year for a few reasons, primarily my curiosity to learn new things and the unique opportunity to gain practical experience while enjoying student life. Sefa has been for me a great opportunity to meet a lot of people from diverse backgrounds through great and diverse events, overall a very fun experience. Sefa is also an amazing facilitator for career opportunities, and help a lot to explore new career prospects, and meeting people from different career background. Being part of a board year is in my opinion the summit of this whole experience, offering a unique blend of professional development, student life and personal growth.
Outside of Sefa, I have a passion for music. I enjoy both playing (mainly piano these days) and creating music, which allows me to express my creativity in a different way.
