Dan Ariely

On October 10th, from 1:30 – 2:30, Room for Discussion will be speaking with Dan Ariely, Professor of Behavioral Economics and Cognitive Psychology at Duke University. We will talk about the irrational behaviors that underpin our actions, the implications that has for society, and the impact the potential solutions have on society as well. In addition, we will talk about global societal issues that are a result of our own irrational behavior. From inequality to the dating market place we will try to pin down how structures that can correct for our own irrationality can be expected to help.
