Equity Sales is about building and maintaining relationships with investors by providing in-depth content. During this internship, you will work in collaboration with the Equity Sales and Research team. The Equity Sales teams are continuously looking for talented students for full time internships in which interns operate as a fully-fledged team member. During this intensive period you will become acquainted with the basics of the equity brokerage business. Would you like to work with entrepreneurial, ambitious colleagues on exciting stocks? During 3-6 months you’re actively part of the team. You will work closely with the sales, trading and research teams to gather information on the stocks Kempen covers and on our clients to provide the best service to our institutional investors. You’ll help the team to enhance its commercial results; for example: support client prospection and business development, prepare stock pitches, set-up calls, roadshows and seminars and many other exciting things!
Van Lanschot Kempen is the Netherlands’ oldest independent financial institution. We prefer to be exclusive; we focus on four niches within Equity Research and Sales – in which we have leading European positions: Real Estate, Infrastructure & Renewables, Lifesciences & Healthcare, Local Alpha.

Next to this, you:
- Are in the finishing stages of a Master degree or are recently graduated, within a management, economic or engineering subject (you are preferably in your last year of studies, seeking placement);
- Have affinity with financial markets;
- Excellent interpersonal skills: exceptional writing, communication, service orientation and customer focus;
- Are analytically strong, for example shown by excellent grades;
- Team player able to work in a demanding environment; dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded;
- Fluent in English and other European languages a plus (Dutch is not a requirement);
- You are fulltime available for 3 to 6 months.
