TEDxUniversiteitvanAmsterdam
The fourth annual TEDxUniversiteitvanAmsterdam event will be held on the 6th of November between 19:00-22:00. This year our theme is “Ready to Reset’’ and on this day we present to you 7 speakers who will give their TEDx talk in front of an online audience.
This year you can join from the safety of your home! Join the dialogue on our TEDx livestream, no matter where you are! Our speakers will give their TEDx talk in a live-streaming studio at hotel Casa Amsterdam and you have the chance to learn more about topics ranging from cybercrime, travels, foreign aid, or maybe leadership.
The livestream will be hosted through Zoom, all ticket-buyers will be send an invitation on the day of the event. More information on how to access the livestream will follow.

So far 6 (out of 7) speakers have been announced:
Inge Bryan – She was knighted for her long term efforts in the fight against drug trafficking and terrorism and was awarded ICT Personality of the Year 2017 for being an advocate of public-private cooperation and making cybersecurity comprehensible to the general public.
Hera van Willick – Originally from Tilburg, Hera has a background in music and theater. However, after discovering East Asia on a bicycle at the age of 24, she decided to no longer pursue a career in theater. Her true calling to see the world led her wheels around Asia, Europe, North and Central America.
Sander van der Linden – He is an Associate Professor of Social Psychology in Society and Director of the Cambridge Social Decision-Making Lab in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cambridge. He has won numerous awards for his research on human judgment, communication, and decision-making
Josine Peters – She started her career as a communications consultant and later worked at AkzoNobel, where she became Global Head of Culture. With the move to General Director of The School of Life she followed her own motives to support people and organisations to give meaning to their lives and activities.’
Moumita Sen – Winner of our Pitch Night! Originally from India, Moumita was actively engaged in various community service initiatives including education for the underprivileged, women empowerment as well as fighting against malnutrition throughout her school years. She decided to pursue a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in entrepreneurship, at the University of Amsterdam.
Michael Onyebuchi Eze – He teaches Philosophy at Leiden University, The Netherlands. Onyebuchi received his PhD (Summa Cum Laude) in History and Cultural Reflection from Universität Witten-Herdecke, Germany and a PhD in Politics and International Studies, University of Cambridge. He has participated in many community development projects in Africa and has and taught in Universities in Africa, Europe and the USA. He has published many academic and nonacademic books and essays.
