Dear Sefasts,
December may have been short, but we definitely packed it. We kicked off the month with Sefa Career Week, where we welcomed almost 1,000 students and over 30 companies for around 45 activities, from case studies and speed dates to boat tours. For everyone who joined the wine tastings, dinners, company fairs, speaker events, or even a game of padel, we hope you discovered something new about your future career path. If you have ideas on how to make next year even better, keep an eye out for February recruitment and join the organising committee to help bring the 2026 edition to life.
Living Dutch encouraged everyone to lace up their ice skates at Museumplein like true Amsterdam tourists, enjoying plenty of glühwein and hopefully not too many extra falls because of it. On campus, Matcha Morning debuted, with the board making fresh matcha at the office and starting early conversations to wake everyone up a little. Our movie night with Home Alone, hot chocolate and snacks offered a cosy break in between exams and the winter weather.
AGAN also celebrated Sinterklaas with our ISO as Sinterklaas, where Secret Santa gifts were not just unwrapped but worn. Throughout the night, we spotted wigs, hats, funny aprons and more, which definitely added to the chaos. A brave group then took on the Irish 12 Pubs of Christmas challenge. Only five people made it all the way to the end and we are very proud of those survivors. The Investment Club kept things busy as well, with an active chat full of insights and their kickoff event on how to invest. Women+ and the Sports Committee hosted a hot pilates session that left many of us glowing and our Operational Officer slightly less able to “move it move it” the next day.
Behind the scenes, the board spent Policy Week in Uitgeest, where we worked on our plans and ambitions for 2026. We have lots of exciting things coming for you all. As we head into the winter break, some of you are skiing in the mountains, some are travelling to all corners of the world, others are happily resting at home, a few are studying for resits, and many are celebrating the holidays and reuniting with family. Thank you for joining us throughout this busy first half of the year. We hope you enjoy a well-deserved break and we look forward to seeing you all rested, recharged and ready for a new year full of Sefa moments
Best,
Maya Dahan
