Biography
Mr. Drs. J.G. (Joop) Wijn currently has the position of Chief Strategy and Risk Officer at Adyen, and he was chairman of SEF in the academic year 1990-1991.
In 2003, Wijn was appointed as Secretary of Finance of the Dutch government. After three years as Secretary of Finance, Wijn was appointed in as Minister of Economic Affairs. From 2007 until 2009, he was Director of Rabobank Netherlands. After this, he became a Supervisory board member at the ABN AMRO bank. Further, Wijn is member of the board of VNO-NCW, a representative organisation for the interests of Dutch entrepreneurs.
