Function description
As Marketing Officer in the Board, you are responsible for all promotional expressions. You are also the guard of the corporate design of Sefa in general. It is very important that people see the connection between our activities and Sefa, while every expression has to be distinctive. Furthermore, the Marketing Officer is concerned with the image, brand identity, and status of Sefa and strategies that will improve that. This includes the PR position of the association and external reputation that we bring to campus and events.
Tasks
- Taking care of Sefa’s marketing and PR policy
- Building and sustaining an unbeatable brand image
- Taking care of the website, social media and all the on-campus promotion expressions
- Attracting and maintaining media attention
- Supervise one of Sefa’s biggest career events: Sefa Career Week

About Me
Hello everyone,
My name is Asya, and I am excited to be the marketing officer for the 104th board. I was born and raised in Istanbul. In 2018, I moved to Finland for high school and completed the International Baccalaureate programme (shout out to the IB kids). After high school, I set my sights south and moved to Amsterdam. I studied economics and business economics at the University of Amsterdam, where I met Sefa. In my second year, I served as the head of acquisition for Investment Days, and in my third year, I chaired Women+.
Besides Sefa, I worked as a corporate banking intern with a rotation in trade finance. After 3 years of travelling, working, and studying with Sefa, a broad year was a natural step forward. I am looking forward to working in the marketing position and integrating data analysis into the role, embodying the true spirit of an economics student. However, beyond the numbers, developing the brand of our community with utmost authenticity is an invaluable experience. With my newfound interest in marketing, I hope to get in touch with my creative side (credentials: I was the art teacher’s favourite throughout primary school).
In my free time, I enjoy travelling with my friends, reformer pilates + matcha days, and talking to my mum (shoutout my mom). I am excited to meet all of you wearing suits at a career event or over a kappasalon after going out. Let’s reach some new heights!
