Lustrum Committee

Do you want to organize Sefa’s 21st lustrum year? In 2027, Sefa celebrates its 105th birthday: time to party big!

We are looking for 7 core Sefa members to help us organize our most special and large-scale events of the year 2026/2027. For every lustrum, Sefa reserves a dedicated budget to celebrate our rich history, traditions, and strong community.

What can I learn as a committee member?

By participating in the lustrum committee, you will develop your organizational skills. You will learn how to organize parties, dinners, and activities from start to end, and everything that comes with it. Lastly, you will have a great time with your committee and all the students joining the lustrum events!

As chairman you are responsible for the organisation of all the lustrum events. You oversee the committee, you are responsible for the meetings, the planning and the overall functioning of the committee.

Essential skills: leadership, proactive, sense of responsibility, strong communication skills

As the treasurer and secretary, all the financial aspects of the events and the documentation and all external communications are your responsibility. You will make a budget and a realization, and you are responsible for all the cash flows within the committee. Additionally, you will also be responsible for the internal communication and taking minutes in the committee meetings.

Essential skills: precise, accurate, keeping overview, good attention to detail

As a program coordinator you help out with planning and organizing social events during the lustrum period. You are responsible for locations, themes, DJs, and much more!
