Hi there,

My name is Daan Visser and I was the Commercial Officer of the 100th Sefa Board.
Looking back at my board year, I would say that managing company relationships,
negotiating contracts and heading all commercial activities (like the Amsterdam
Career Days) are my most valuable memories of Sefa. The opportunity to lead an
organization as enormous as Sefa together with six other members and to develop
yourself in a personal and professional way was an experience like no other.
That is why I am thrilled and honored that I am part of Sefa's Supervisory Board for
the second year in a row. Being part of the Supervisory Board fills me with immense
excitement as it signifies a continued journey of involvement and contribution to the
growth and success of our association.
Sefa has always held a special place in my academic journey for building friendships
for life and preparing me for my professional career. I can definitely recommend
joining the As Good As New committee in your first year!
I have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and I am currently finishing my
master’s in International Business (part of MSc. BA). Next to that, I am working full-
time as an Assistant Manager for Nestlé Nespresso. As an Assistant Manager, I am
excited to be the operational point of contact for a dynamic team of 10-12 employees
and therefore overseeing all practical matters and problems that they encounter.
This includes motivating, inspiring & coaching the team to achieve the set targets,
but also having a good understanding of Nespressos operational systems. From
refining operational strategies to ensuring top-notch customer service, every aspect
of this role fills me with inspiration and determination.
As a Supervisory Board Member, I am committed to bringing my previous insights,
dedication, fresh perspectives, and unwavering enthusiasm to the table. I look
forward to continuing to work closely with all stakeholders and playing my part in the
bright future that lies ahead for Study Association Sefa.
