Sefa Skillsweek

Last year we organised the third edition of Sefa Skillsweek and it was a great success! During this 3-day event, over 300 students took the opportunity to develop their Professional, Academic and Personal skills. Workshops provided by different experts gave students the chance to get more out of their skills. For instance, students were taught how to stand out during the job application process, how to get higher grades in less time or how to extend their offline and online network. But this is just a glimpse of all trainings that were held during Sefa Skillsweek. Did you miss the event or were you not able to participate in the workshop you liked? No problem! This year students will be given the chance again to develop their skills during the fourth edition of  Sefa Skillsweek, which will take place the first week of October. Interested to organise this event this year? During February 2022 the new committee will be formed and we guarantee that it will be an experience to remember!

What can I learn as a committee member

Within Sefa Skillsweek you will work in a team of 3 students from the UvA. By becoming a member of this committee you create a very challenging environment to develop yourself. Depending on your position you are going to guide your team, acquire and negotiate with companies and training institutions, keep track of all the information flows or create and retain the budget of the Sefa Skillsweek. You will develop persuasive and organisational skills, learn how to deal with deadlines and learn how to act within a professional business environment.
